Remarks: Kernels shall be completely free from infestation, insect damage, mould rancidity, adhering testa and objectionable extraneous matter. Scraped and partially shrivelled kernels also permitted provided such scraping/shrivelling does not affect the characteristic shape of the kernel.
Packing and Shipment
Packagings available for export of blanched cashew kernels in bulk are as follows:
- Carton containing one 50 lbs flexible pouch
- Carton containing two 25 lbs flexible pouches
- Carton containing two tins of 11.340 Kg net each
- Carton containing two tins of 10 Kg net each
Shipments from India are mainly in 20 ft containers which carry about 750 Cartons. Orders for Less than a Container Load (LCL) are also accepted, in which case freight is charged per Cubic Meter on volume basis. Freight for Full Container Load (FCL) is fixed and same is cheaper than freight for part container load (LCL).
We also pack in tins of 10 Kg. net for certain markets to meet the requirements of buyers. Two such tins (20 Kg. net) are packed into a carton and 750 cartons can be accommodated in a 20 ft FCL.
